A solid gold 3 piece cased Smiths Deluxe wristwatch with a dial with with raised gilt numerals in excellent overall condition. Birmingham 1955 assayed Dennison 9 carat gold 3 piece case with clip on back, diameter without the winding crown approximately 31 mm. Fully overhauled and with a new strap, crystal and rolled gold winding crown, replacement internal parts as necessary such as the steel parts which a re prone to break on the Smiths 12-15 and including as a matter of course the mainspring. The movement is a crisp c series Made In England frosted gilt english lever with club tooth escape wheel, the escapement being the polished Deluxe grade with mono-metallic balance. The case with stepped lugs which are in worn condition. With a dedication for long service to an employee by pressed Steel Company Limited. Model A501.
